Op. Dr. Murat Önal

Op. Dr. Murat Önal is one of the pioneering physicians in Cyprus in the field of infertility treatments, with many years of experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and in vitro fertilization (IVF). By combining the innovations of modern medicine with individualized treatment approaches within the framework of ethical values, Dr. Önal carries out a trust-based treatment process that considers the unique needs of each patient.

He completed his medical education in 2004 at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa), and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same university in 2010. He then specialized in in vitro fertilization and assisted reproductive technologies. Dr. Önal worked at the Istanbul Şişli Memorial IVF Center in Turkey as well as at reputable centers in Cyprus, accompanying thousands of couples—both local and international—on their journey to parenthood.

Particularly recognized for his high success rates in patients with low ovarian reserve, recurrent IVF failures, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), egg/sperm donation, and advanced maternal age pregnancies, Dr. Önal is known for his patient-centered approach.

Transparency, patient education, and psychological support are always at the forefront of his medical philosophy, and he considers maintaining constant communication with his patients throughout the treatment process as a guiding principle.

At his clinic in Cyprus, Dr. Önal continues to contribute to the creation of happy families by providing services with the most up-to-date technologies. He also lectures in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine of the International Cyprus University. He has authored numerous national and international scientific publications and book chapters.
